Precast Concrete Beams and Columns
Bespoke Precast Concrete Columns
Ebor's Precast Concrete Columns are designed and manufactured to meet your project needs. Concrete Columns can offer significant programme advantages over in-situ solutions on framed structures. By manufacturing and curing off site, Ebor's precast columns can be installed in a fraction of the time it takes to erect site shuttering and place and cure concrete on site.
Precast Concrete Columns which are supplied to site already having reached their design strength, allow floors to be constructed immediately following column installation, speeding up the construction process on multi-storey structures even further.
Additionally, the benefits of factory production in quality control of reinforcement, concrete mixing and pouring and surface finishes ensure client satisfaction on the finished structure.
Ebor bespoke manufactures Precast Concrete Columns which can either be rectangular or circular in section and can incorporate a wide variety of features and details including corbels and bearing shelves.
Projecting rebar is usually provided at the column head for tying in to in-situ floors.
Options for foundation connections include cast in base plates, dowel tubes or projections.
Beam support is achieved by either flared heads, corbels or bolt-on brackets.
Precast Concrete Ground Beams
All Ebor Concrete Ground Beams and plinth units are bespoke and designed to suit your project requirements. Section profiles and sizes are also variable to suit the demands of each job and are not limited by standard mouldage.
Beams may incorporate up-stand walls and other features to support walls or cladding above them. They may be dowelled down to column bases or strip foundations or tied to columns with clamps or with projecting rebar for in-situ encasement. The options are limitless and Ebor will be happy to quote you for your specific requirements.
